Quintero Brevas
The Quintero Brevas are made entirely by hand with short filler, and the leaves with which the cigars are made are selected in the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta regions, in the province of Pinar del Río, a guarantee of quality to achieve a balanced flavor medium.
The Quintero Brevas have cigar factory format Nacionales, It is a 40 ring gauge x 140mm long, all with a medium strength, it is characterized by a light brownish natural wrapper.
The Quintero Brevas has a very characteristic flavor, somewhat dry, somewhat earthy (which decreases in intensity as the smoke progresses), and smoky, something quite spicy toasted (especially in the first third) with vague sweet tips, recommended for smokers who want to enjoy the best tobacco in the country, but at moderate prices. Quintero cigars have a flavor constructed from herbs with a characteristic sweet taste; good draw, with intense and very abundant puffs, the aroma is tobacco, quite woody, very slightly sweet background, which leaves us memories of bitter almonds, smoked cedar, hints of coffee, pepper and vague hints of cinnamon, the ash somewhat dark metallic gray.
Given its size and strength it is a perfect cigar for morning; it will give you from 45 to 50 minutes of smoke and it will perfectly pair with coffee.

Fantastic price on a daily budget Cuban. I received two boxes of RMO Sep 18 and, despite the expected delays due to the coronavirus situation they arrived in terrific condition. I have smoked three cigars from one of the boxes; one of them had a rather tight draw for being short filler, but did not detract much from the overall experience.

For the price it’s definitely up there as a very good “everyday” cigar. After the first third, it kicks in with some fruity citrus, and a little taste of wood in the back. Not the smoothest in the final third but all in all a great value stick.
