Vegueros Tapados
The Vegueros Tapados cigar from Vegueros Brand is a tribute to the Pinar del Rio Province farmers of tobacco fields. They are all rolled at that province with a high quality and represent the authentic Cuban flavor.
The Vegueros Tapados have cigar factory format Mareva Gruesa, It is a 46 ring gauge x 120mm long, with a strong strength, it is characterised by a brown between natural and mature wrapper with some veins, manufactured totally by hand.
The Vegueros Tapados has a very characteristic flavor, tobacco, herbaceous, slightly toasted and smoked, with vague earthy tips, spicy and a slightly sweet background. It leaves us memories of undergrowth, earth, roasted bitter almond, nutmeg at the beginning; correct draw, the aroma tobacco, with toasted, herbaceous tips, very spicy and sweet in the background, leaving memories of scrubland, smoked cedar, toasted almonds, cinnamon and black pepper, the ash medium gray with streaks of matte and grainy dark gray.
This cigar will delight the most demanding palates at a reasonable price within the range of cigars.
Given its size and strength it is a perfect cigar for any time of a day better in the morning with a cup of black coffee; it will give you 30 to 45 minutes of pure Cuban flavor. and it will perfectly pair with rum.

An excellent cigar – vegueros have usually been good although I’ve had draw problems with the (discontinued) nos 1 and 2. But tapados are a great size and shape (mareva gruesa) and since they’re not rolled in Havana the quality control is pretty good. Montefortuna’s price on this two-pack is unbeatable. BTW I also liked the seoanes when they were being made. Got some in Havana after they were discintinued and they were excellent.
