Short cigars are becoming more popular these days. Cigars such as the Partagas D No. 5, The Cohiba Medio Siglo are some of the latest short Cuban cigars from Habanos. There’s obviously a demand for this particular vitola and there’s good reason for it too. Short cigars such as the ones in the video linked above retain the thicker ring gauge but not the length. This means the cigars still feel significant but they don’t take forever to smoke.

A recent video from Cigar Rants compares the Quai d’Orsay No. 50 against the Punch Short de Punch cigar. Both of these cigars are popular options for many aficionados. The Quai d’Orsay might be the better-known cigar, although the Punch was ranked number five in Cigar Aficionados’ top 25 cigars for 2020.

In the video above, both cigars are described as being fantastic smokes. The flavor profiles each have are quite different and they both come highly recommended. The slight difference in price may have an impact on some peoples buying choices. However, if that’s not an issue for you, we highly recommend both cigars.
