Sources close to Habanos S.A. have confirmed that the New Regional Edition for Spain will be a 52 Ring gauge x 115mm cigar.
La Flor de Cano Magicos. This is the name of the new regional edition for the Spanish market. If rumours are true, this new 52 Ring Gauge x 115mm cigar will replace the amazing La Gloria Cubana Serie D No.5
The LGC Exclusivo Spain was released in 2017 and the new Regional Edition will come out in February/March 2020.
Format
The format will remain very similar. La Gloria Cubana from 2017 was a 50 Ring Gauge x 110mm vs the 52 Ring Gauge x 115 from La Flor de Cano Magicos. Both medium length cigars but with a reasonable ring size.
Production Quantities
What will remain unknown (at least for the next 2 months) is the amount of boxes that will be produced. The Serie D No.5 production was quite extensive with 50,000 numbered boxes of 10 cigars. It wouldn’t be a surprise that the new production is as extensive as its previous edition.
Official Release Date
The official release date hasn’t been announced yet but it’s believed that it will come out in February or March. Montefortuna Cigars has already secured a big stock of La Flor del Cano Mágicos.
