1.) Learn something useful
This period will test your patience and your proactivity. If after all these days you don’t come up with something good, you will prove to be lazy. It doesn’t have to be work related. Spend some time asking yourself what you really like, what really drives you passionate. Play an instrument, learn some magic tricks, build something… Possibilities are endless, it’s a matter of patience and proactivity.

2.) Discover new music
This one is fairly easy. How many musicians have you heard of but not listened to? Now it’s time to open your Spotify and discover.
3.) Get in touch with old friends
It’s time to open the trunk of memories. When was the last time you called your school friends? Your previous work mates? One of your exes? (The good one…) Look back and spot those that were meant to stay. Give them a call. You can use your phone, Skype or Zoom.
Read. There are so many books out there waiting for you. Read for knowledge or entertainment. Both are valid options and mandatory.

5.) Contrast Media Information
These days Media is going crazy with what’s going on. Everyone is talking about it. Something I’ve learnt throughout all these years (I’m sure you too, but it’s worth mentioning) is the importance of contrasting media publications. Everyone has an opinion and some individuals are very influential on others.
Make sure you read all kinds of publications before you talk. Even the ones you don’t agree with. Don’t focus on politics only. Read about science, economy, sociology, anthropology, history and even sports to understand what is going on (if that’s even possible) and what will happen in the future.

7.) Master your cooking skills
Food is a true delight. Master your cooking skills not only by cooking the greasiest hamburger ever cooked, but by learning how to cook healthier. Or maybe how to properly cut an onion or how to avoid cooking 6 portions of pasta when it’s only you on the table.
We have some excellent recipes for you. Check this website that we’ve personally used:
8.) Take a moment to properly think what to do next
Undoubtedly, we all have more time at home. Some of us have to work, other might be on a forced temporary leave or unfortunately some might have lost their jobs. Certainly, this period will be remembered by all of us as one of the toughest and most singular moments in our lives.
The world has taught us how unpredictable it can be. This could happen again. Even this could lead to more unusual things to happen. That’s why one of our recommended plans is to think ahead. Take some time to evaluate the impact of this crisis. Take some time to evaluate how would you have prepared if you had known what was coming. Think also what you could do in order to help as friend, as a partner, as a son, as a brother, as an employee etc.
Society as we know it will never be de same after this and it’s important to think what’s next and what your role will be.
I’m sure most of you have already thought about it, but it is very important to extract concrete answers and concrete improvements.
9.) Smoke, Pair, Review
Here we have our own little challenge. If you are reading this is because you probably like cigars. As you know we review cigars and we always encourage our customers to review their cigars.
We have created our Montefortuna Cigars Spotify Playlist and we will be releasing some easy cocktail recipes and pairings for your cigar.
This last point is related to the previous one (Point 8). We want to give you some ideas on the perfect set up for you to think and relax with a nice cigar, a nice pairing and the perfect music.
If you are not too busy thinking, review your cigar. Focus on every single detail: The wrapper, the smell, the draw. Experience every third of the cigar, every sip and every puff of smoke.
Send us your review to email@example.com and tell us about your experience and we will share it under your name or anonymously to our amazing Cuban Cigar community.
If we like your review style, we might choose you as an Official Montefortuna Reviewer and we will send you free cigars to review for us!
